It's the same except you have to unbolt the end cover.
4 bolt's. That's all.
I'd go with Pete's advice first, then go with Dom's throw out bearing advice.
Heap's easier & faster job than removing the box, even though it's only a 30 minute job. haha
Your also working through the "process of elimination".
Don't just dive into the hardest job first.

Release bearing in the outer end of the box I reckon. Easy to check and the one in the 5 speed goes straight in providing the plastic sleeve isnt damaged. Hopefully the pushrod hasnt welded itself to the pressure plate parts.

checked the gearbox today...took the end cap off and all is in order at that end. the lever doesn't actually go up so the rod isn't pushing the clutch in...box out 2moz morning hope its not a new clutch involved...if it is what are they worth???
