Takeoff on steep hills - DSG doesn't want to shift out of first

I've experienced this a few times and wonder if its a problem. We have the 125 with DSG and the DSG is usually a breeze. However, I've noticed a couple of times that if I pull away from the kerb up a steepish hill, the DSG seems to get stuck in first and won't shift to second unless I pull the level across to the "tiptronic" gate.

Now I'm not flooring it and I'm in D rather than S. Should I worry? Is anyone else experiencing this?

    G'day.
I picked up MY011 125 DSG Tig about 3 weeks ago and I also noticed this.
For some odd and strange reason it revs to about 4 - 5 in first gear without moving a great distance and then changes to second.

Am a little concerned as I don't want to be reving that high especially when the car is cold and i've just started driving to warm the thing up.

Hope there's a few more people who have experienced this and may have a few answers to this problem.

There is nothing to worry about, it's normal for the car to hold 1st gear longer when taking off up-hill.
Basically, the car has detected you are on a hill and holds on to 1st gear longer to give you more power drive up hill.
