    MK3 VR6 AFM problem.

My car started missing on idle and felt like it had lost some power today I was mucking around with the car and disconected the AFM I started the car without realizing and took it for a drive. With the airflow meter disconnected the car feels to go 100x better and idels smoothly as soon as I plug it back in it runs **** again. Does this mean there is a problem with my AFM?

Mine had a busted wire on the plug which caused issues. I cut and re-soldered all the cables to solve my issue... just saying to check the cable too

Yes if you unplug the sensor and car runs better. The sensor should be replaced.

Thanks guys all wires and connections seem good, I gave it a clean with some AFM cleaner but there was no change time for a new AFM.
