You can just use VAG-COM what trans you have. Have also been able to measure trans temp using it so that fluid is checked correctly.
Parts came last week, now I only need to get the fluid and attempt this on my day off. Weirdly though it's been shifting smoothly, can the cold weather have any effect on it?

Penrite says ATF FS Multi is the preferred fluid. What did you get?
edit; lol, my price checker is indicating a 0.2% price drop on the Penrite ATF, good to see that my tool is working.
