right sorry, keep forgetting you have the 096 *facepalm*
Good point.
If you are redoing the Dragon Green, it is meant to be a dark metallic green with a blue tint clearcoat which gives it a blue pearl effect. As the clear coat ages it loses the blue tint so you tend to lose the blue pearl effect, although the metallic green is still pretty good looking if you manage to keep it in good condition.
I would suggest that if you have the spare money to get it done professionally.

so, I did everything with regards to servicing the transmission. Checked the level 4 times, correct temp, everything, after changing the filter and gasket. The trans slips more than before though, I'm lost as to what has happened. I've reset the fuzzy logic of the controller and given it a bit of time to re-learn. I've found that it sometimes drops while turning. I had this happen before though but not very often. It sometimes has trouble engaging first. Once the car is rolling it changes gears like before.
I have a feeling that there is not enough fluid and it goes to one side while turning hence slipping, but if that were the case then why is the fluid correct when I check?
Anyone have an idea and what's happening?

Stefcio, Temp is measured once warmed up?

Speed, yes, I measure the temp once warmed up and start checking the level once it's in the correct range. Maybe the fluid is too new and the car is just used to the old fluid?
Oddly, it performed well for a small incline today from a stop position, no slipping.
Maybe it just needs time.
Edit; vagcom is not throwing any error codes at all for trans.

I'm going to do another fluid level check, last time I did the check it needed more fluid and it helped. Maybe it's still not enough.
Being careful though. vagcom seems to sometimes change +/- 4°C when reading so it's a little tricky.
Did another fluid check, correct temps, engining running. Went well. Going to test drive later tonight and see how it goes. Seemed that it took on more fluid. Last time more fluid was added in the end the car slipped a lot less. Here's hoping this was all it needed.

I was actually thinking about going the black textured trims to match some flares I bought as well as the guard, bonnet and roof need to be done. Almost snagged a 98 golf in the same green with no panel or paint damage but the guy wouldn't reply after one text, such a missMust of sent it off to the wreckers
