Hi Don. My parks lights are fixed now (I think!). All I had to do is change KC3/KC9 Lichtfunktion B to "not active".
Is this picture correct for illumination on the RHS of the car for the parklight function?

It's really not possible to answer your question by looking at a single picture. To do this properly, you need to show how the Parking lights operate in conjunction with ALL the lighting functions that are used by the tail-lights (Brake, turn-signal, low/high-beam etc) and with the rotary-light-switch in ALL 4 x positions.
From a very quick search on Mr Google, I pulled-down the GIF below from Himrod site
https://www.vwwatercooled.com.au/for...7a44dd18-1.jpg
Do ALL the light functions on your tails operate the same?
Don
Hi Don. Yes, all functions are working correctly with all settings on the rotary dial and with the ignition on/off. It matches the gif on that website too.
The coding was more straight forward once I purchased the wiring schematics for the Australian model GTI, and dumped out the OBDEleven control module backup to a file then transformed it into a sort-able, filtered spreadsheet.
@deadcat: well done!!
And yes, I agree entirely about the OBD11 back-up file format. It beggars belief why any sane code-cutter would create such a useless file structure for what's ostensibly a relational database!!
Ain't no-one going to manually troll through upward of 1,500 adaptation channels (as in the hex09 module) looking for a particular name!!
Of course the only logical way to search these records is via a computer-based search-engine - like MS Excel/Access. This process is far simpler if the primary data has a flat file structure.
VCDS has a much better solution - their .CSV format doesn't require the complex parsing method needed for OBD11 back-up files

I am looking for VCDS coding to modify Start Stop Functionality,
Previously on my Tiguan the start stop was somwhat less sensitive than it is on my Golf.
When at the lights and car has turned off my Golf will start as soon as the vehicle infront moves even a little.
It is very frustrating when the lights are still red and the vehicle in front just moves metre forward then stops again.
I believe there should be VCDS coding to adjust this sensor reaction but unfortunately I havent been able to find anything.
Anyone able to shed some light ?
Regards
@ArdiL: Hmm....... I assume that you are referring to "Stop and Go", or the facility that other VAG cars call "automatic drive-away". If so, the smarts are in the module @ address hex 13; VCDS calls this Auto Dist. Reg (probably short for Auto Distance Regulation).
I suspect that the precise information that you are seeking (if it exists at all) depends on the version hex13 software in this car.
I can't find any facility to adjust the "go" sensitivity on 5Q0-907 series modules. The only programmable part of this function appears to be in the long-code string:
- Byte 2 - Bit 1 = Automatic drive-away after short stop (which I assume means "go" if the car head moves within 3 seconds of stop)
- Byte 2 - Bit 0 = Automatic drive-away after pre-trigger (which I assume means the driver takes her foot off the brake pedal)
Both of these software switches should be set on your car - if you have this version module. I guess that you could try switching-off item #1 above, but this would remove the "go" function entirely (which is not what you want)
Anyway, maybe have a troll through this module on your car - you never know what you might find!!!
Don
Hi Don,
Seems my version module is not the same as I didnt have those options.
Had a quick look around and didnt notice anything related. (I will check again later)
I did however find something elsewhere while investigating earlier.
Adaptations > deactivation of start stop fuction = mode not active
I will try this out later today after a drive as my battery charge is low and S/S is not active.
There seems to be several options to choose from, I will test a few.
Just to clarify,
I can understand and accept the car starting within 3 seconds of stopping IF the car in front moves but I think my car starts after the 3 seconds has passed which is weird.
Note: I dont think it would be related to a MOD I have performed on th car?
TJA has been activated on my car however we also performed the 60 second lane assist mod, I doubt this would affect start stop though.
Anyway will continue poking around as you have suggested :)
Regards

Good evening everyone, I was “playing” with obd11 in the control unit 09 in the light channels, specifically the “leuchte23” and “leuchte24” which are the taillights and I was wondering if you could disable the LEDs in the red circle and leave only those in the green circle on, is there any experts on this that can help me?
Thank you for your helpAttachment 55073

@samusi1:Hi
So, an Audi Q3 question posed on a Golf mk7 forum?
Very little information provided to give an accurate response - like:
- You don't say which country - but from the message "Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk Pro" this could be an Italian car (maybe?).
- What build year is this car?
- I assume that the tail-lights on this car have incandescent lamps (maybe?)
Depending on the build year, this Audi might share the same DNA as the cars on this part of the forum (i.e. MQB platform). However, the factory assignments of the Leuchte-sets will be different - so again more information needed.
- Please provide screenshots of Leuchte 23 and Leuchte 24 - to be clear, I need to see ALL 19 x adaptation channels in each Leuchte-set
- Will this car remain road-legal in your country if the outer tail-lights are disabled and the outer-light functions transferred to the inner lights?
- Have you made a back-up of the 09 central electrics module on this car?
Don
Hi Don,
First of all thanks for the answer, I know it’s a post for mk7 but you are very knowledgeable and I tried to ask here, sorry. The data you requested from me is as follows:
