Would love to see your work up coding on this one . When i attempted it mine spat the dummy and got two warnings come up on the dash.

Hmm ok - mine did it no problem. So with VCDS - for the steps I went to:
1. 01-Engine
2. 07-Coding
3. Long Coding
4. Change the drop down option in Bit 0-2 from "01 Manufacturer: Seat/Skoda/Volkswagen" to "02 Manufacturer: Audi"

That was it.


Have you got a link to where you got the info for the DRL brightness tweak?

I find the drl thread it was from the golf forum with a link to a external site with needle sweep and several other mods.

Ok I think this is what you need....

Here is my original Long Code - note the first bit 09



On the VCDS, I just use the pull down option to change the manufacturer to Audi. This changes the first bit from 09 -> 0A like so.



So if you can make that change - that's your setting.
