2011 VW Golf 90 TSI owner in the ACT. Lucky enough to have had this purchased for me on return from overseas.

Rookie mistake #1: Buying a dark car - will definitely go to a lighter colour in the future (thinking white for the Golf R - but the Lapiz Blue is so tempting...)

Have absolutely loved the Golf, but am now looking to upgrade in the coming months to a new Golf R.

Would you guys recommend holding off until I can get a 2015 model next year, or just grab the 2015MY of the 2014 - what will the difference be regarding re-sale 5 years from now?
