Does the new software allow the DSG to drop back to 1st gear when slowing in "D"?
Be interested to find out what is in the update... and also the reason for it.
My Tig 147TSI is a 2010 built MY11 and there was a DSG software update that the dealer did for me.
Those who have not been to the dealer for servicing for a while, you might want to get this checked if your Tig needs it.
It made the shifts a lot smoother that's what I can feel (due to new fluid after over 4 years & 40,000km since filled from factory), but I am sure it does a bit more than that.
I had mine done at Gold Coast VW where i had bought my Tiguan from.

Nope, it stays in 2nd until the car is fully stationary.
OK. So they haven't sorted that one out. Was kind of hoping that I didn't have to shell out for another DSG tune to fix the quirks of the standard DSG programming.
