I've had mine changed at 45,000km just to be on the safe side....
I have had mixed information on the service interval for the 7 speed DSG box in my MY11 Tiguan.
The service book says that the 60kkm service interval is only for the 6 speed DSG, but I have also read that the Tiguan is different and like the Transporter does require a DSG oil change. Other sources agree with the service book and say sealed for life.
What is the service interval on the DSG?
if it is "Sealed for Life" can someone point me to a oil change guide for sealed for life boxes.
in either case, whats the oil spec and capacity?
I'm sure that this has all been done before, but I can't seem to find a straight answer.
Thanks!

It doesn't look like its ever been done on mine, and its got 75kkm on the clock. The service log has "no" ticked for DSG oil @ 60kkm. Might give them a call and see if its wrong.
Gave the service agent a call and their records show that the DSG service has been done. I just have to take the log book in to get them to amend it.
Thanks for your help guys.
I've spoken to two dealers in WA and they both said that the 7 Speed doesn't need a service. I laughed and told them it was a wet clutch DSG and I was aware it did need a service at 60,000kms. The service adviser and I argued for a little bit until he got my VIN and realised that it was required.
I think it's because the DQ500 DSG isn't very common and they get it confused with the dry clutch unit. The downside is that you wouldn't be the only one I've heard of where the dealer skipped it on a Tiguan because they thought it wasn't required.
