Thanks guys, good to know NVH is not affected by the tune.

How will a DSG Tiguan respond to the increase in power I wonder, I guess 'S' mode will be a bit too enthusiastic for the city, but will the normal 'D' mode be a nightmare to drive especially trying to take off from a roundabout or a give way sign quickly (the usual 2nd gear acceleration bug)?

Is it fair to say the tune will bring out the worst of the DSG transmission, and that flashing DSG should seriously be considered as well?

I believe the DSG box is rated to far higher power levels than we are getting out of our APR stage one tune. I think I read somewhere that is utilised in the smaller version of the audi A8

Sorry to hijack a thread but has anyone noticed/know why the downpipe no longer appears on the apr website for a tig?

Given the increase in the power/torque is substaintial in the lower rev range, will the DSG in 'D' mode be less town friendly than before, i.e. too jumpy or change up a gear too late?

Because they don't sell it anymore. I asked a month or so back and it has been discontinued.

And they don't even have any kicking around out the back - asked that too.

Good news is that Veizu are on final testing of their hardware and should be released in the next month or two.

I'm just waiting for their hardware to be ready before organising a tune as I have a later model tig and the ECU has to be removed to tune... only want to do this once if I can avoid it.
