    No sound from Columbus after coding lost

    Hi All,
    Just thought I'd share an experience in case anyone comes across it in future.

    Issue:
    Skoda Superb Elegence with 'Sound System' amp under passenger seat.
    Upgrade of firmware on Columbus (rns510) had failed a few times and eventually completed fully from 3984 to 4120.
    All coding for the rns was lost, also no sound from the head unit at all. This also meant that mfd did not show nav directions.

    Resolution:
    Restore coding to address 37 navigation including turning on BAP.
    Reset the amp by unplugging it from under the passenger seat and reconnecting.
    Reset the rns with setup+Mic+eject.
    Clear fault codes from the canbus gateway, navigation and amp.


    Should be back to normal now. Sound won't return until the amp is reset.
