    Hi Peeps,

Wondering if you can help me, I am keen to purchase a DYNAUDIO SYSTEM Aftermarket, their is one on ebay for a Passat, the seller refers to be able to buy them from Germany as an entire system

    Front woofers and Tweeters
    Rear Woofer and Tweeters

    Amplifier and all wiring

Can anyone please post me in the direction where i can order this and have it posted to Australia?

    thx

unless its super cheap, why bother. the dynaudio option isnt anywhere near the high end stuff. you are better off buying new gear from a usa audio shop and getting a local audio place to install. its not rocket surgery. plus u will end up with a better sounding system than the dynaudio if done right
for instance, my setup cost me about $1000 installed. and i think im running some ok stuff, its not super high end, but for $1000 installed, cheaper than dynaudio option and its a decent sound

hey thanks for your reply Walbjj, mate did you have to make new speaker pods to get the Boston Accoustic pro 60 se being a 6 3/4 against the factory 6.5? I am reluctant to go aftermarket as I want a clean factory finish no rattles. I do have an Infinity Kappa 600 W rms amplifier and JL 10W7 Sub.That i bought from Online Car Stereo from the US. Speakers that I like other than the dynaudio are AVI which you can get in Sydney at Metrosound but they are approx $1500 for the front against Dynaudio which are approx $1100 just for the speakers. So either way the install/job is going to be a costly one. Thats why i was after the factory Dynaudio's which would be a good option coupled with a good amp and Sub..

The Passat Dynaudio Esotec upgrade IMHO is better than most speakers of comparable pricing especially when you factor in installation costs.

The Golf uses a lower end Excite series. Still quite commendable IMHO. Comparable to some Focal components.

the bostons were plug and play. no messing around with adaptors etc.
i was like u, i wanted a clean look, and clean sound and if u look at my car, it looks exactly like a stock golf inside, everything is hidden. no rattles.
i bought all my gear overseas, less than half price here. install was a simple one, no custom work at all.
i can understand why people go dynaudio. the only reason i went with what i got is because i bought a gti already on a boat, i didnt order it to spec, if i did, then i would have ticked the dynaudio box and waited til sept, but as it is, ive had my car for over 2 months now and no regrets with aftermarket stereo
