    Detailed step on how to change the DVD region code on the RNS510

    Hi,

    For some reason my DVD player in the RNS510 will not play Australian DVDs (legal zone4) disks. it will only play zone 2 disks (European). Can anyone tell me step by step (prefer idiot proof) on how to change the DVD zone via the VCDS please

    If you updated your firmware, it changes it to what the firmware has in it. I have a program and cable that lets me change to region 0 as well as change of lost PIN and a bunch of other things. The only thing is it needs to be removed from the car.
    08 MY09 R32, DBP, DSG, GIAC, R8V10 reps, KW V3, RNS510/VIM/BT/MDI, region free DVD, switched Haldex, s2t paddles,HPA dogbone rubber,Mk7 climatronics, FIS+, Adams/RDA discs & Hawk pads, Garage button, GruppeM.     Btw region 0 is all regions.

    Region 0 cannot be set with vcds. Only via service mode with appropriate tool.

    I have the service tool to do things and maybe help out if needed.
