Just had a thought, have you tried your VW DEaler. They often get some 1/43 scale models in. I bought a very nice red Golf V GTi from our Dealer.

More likely that it is so new.

To give you an idea, there are 3 major producers of 1/87 scale model, AWM, Herpa & Wiking. Only 1, Wiking, is making the T5 Transporter / Multivan.

While Minichamps produce Golf in Mk I,II,IV & V, they still don't make a Mk III, or T3 & T4 Transporters/Multivans, yet make T1, T2 & T5.

If you ebay search "Polo" you will fing something "New", however, not yet a GTi.
