would like a few verifications please

hey guys.. seriously considering a quick vr6 conversion on my mk2.

im after you guys feedback, and verification so i have half an idea what im getting myself into...

basically i want to convert my 1991 mk2 GTI auto to a manual vr6 engine.

i would like to retain my mk2 clocks, brakes, everything mk2 except the donk and gearbox set up.

the subframe will all bolt up if i understand correctly? and the engine loom will plug into my mk2 loom? is this something a spray painter can handle?

can i hook up my temp sensors/trip computer gear to mk2 dash, or do i NEED the VR clocks?

i do not want to change my fuel tank so the fuel gauge works. im happy to sacrifice trip computer if need be to have a correctly working fuel gauge. i will not however settle for a disfunctional speedo/odo.

i also do not want to change to the VR6 wide suspension. any ethical problems here guys?

the car is registered, and will remain so throughout the conversion. i'll leave that statement right there

also any problems i should expect to encounter converting from an auto to a manual ?
