Hope it isnt a swallowtail!! if so don't dare scrap :(
You know I didn't actually look:duh: It does have a swallow tail bonnet though.
I've only been told that the rust is terminal I haven't investigated it much myself yet. The "too rusty" assesment did come from a repected auto engineer though (Bill M). It's been stored in the open for more than 5 years. We were pretty busy just doing the trailer thing tonight to spend much time playing with it.
I'll bug bomb it before I go pulling out the interior though, it's a spider's paradise in there.

Make sure you bug bomb it outside! Dad made that mistake with a karmann ghia years ago.. There was a black outline around the car in the shed! haha.
Here's a pic to keep you all guessing for the moment.
My friends 4wd has a rear facing camera so I got to watch the golf all the way home:biggrin:

Hey Pete good to see you've got the bits to continue the blue car project.
Have you got the other one back from the dyno yet ....Cheers Geoff
I've noticed you've been a bit absent of late Pete.
This explains it I spose - up to no good again!
so that's 1 Beetle. 2 4 door golfs, 2 2 door golfs, and 1 passat? and a BMW? I really didn't remember your garage or driveway being that big! j:
He`s been busy making a multi story car park at his house :).
Just crazy busy/stressed at work. Lots of functions this time of year too, weekends and weekdays. I'm on holidays from next week, then I'll be back into it.
White Golf comes back on Friday, it'll be on the dyno again all day Thursday.
Plans for a monster carport are underway!
