"my clamp meat thingy", haha, I have no idea what you're talking about. My left side is an off-white greeny colour, the right is white, which is consistent with yours, albeit at lower temps.
I guess being DGS rather than manual may contribute a little to it. As would brake pad compound according to the DBA site:
"If your driving conditions force the Orange paint to change to yellow then you should consider more a specialized high temperature pad compound, review the car setup or alter your driving style. When exposed to temperatures in excess of 630 oC (Red paint) permanent fatigue and stress concentration is greatly accelerated which may result in premature cracking or warping of the disc rotor. DBA does not warrant disc rotors that have been subjected to motor sport use."
This is why I upgraded from the Remsa pads, they started out as being adequate, but deteriorated after numerous heat cycles. Would have been interesting to know what temps they were doing.
Good to have that measure though, and to know that I'm operating within the window.
