My wife and I just bought a '96 Ibiza GTi... what a car!!! Man, this thing is fun!!!

One problem we're having, though, is finding first gear. It doesn't feel like synchros, as it slips straight in without grinding when we DO find it... it feels more like a gate thing, if that makes sense.

Is there any way to adjust the shifter, or a bushing that's likely to be worn???
