Scirocco R Aust Pricing Thread

Hi Guys,

Wanted to start a thread so we could all share what deals are out there around the country and the expectations on delivery that dealers may be setting.

I've had two quotes from two different dealers for :

PRICE:
DSG - Candy White - Inc Dynaudio and Panoramic Sunroof = $58,044 and $56,987 respectively. The difference being in dealer delivery.

Delivery:
One dealer is doing the typical sales pitch - if you give us a deposit you will get it in JAN (skeptical about this)
The other dealer couldn't really tell me (didn't know)

Have not tried to haggle or get extra inclusions at this stage.

went to chatswood classic cars, they had no info at all, and said whatever is online is all they know. which is funny as online has the price, yet they said they havent received pricing.

So just an update to this - I have placed by order. State : VIC - White DSG with Sunroof and Audio upgrade = $56,987 on the road

Well done Zio looks like a pretty good deal. Placed pre order on reflex silver manual (with leather but as you know can't get) months ago and due to negotiate price in next week or so when scirocco will apparently be setup in VW system. Sales guy not in a rush, not sure why given others are locking it in. He did say discount likely to be limited to $ 1.5 to 2 k but that corp plan discount might apply. Will see about all of that.... And will let you know. Cheers

Update for anyone who still cares...$49k drive away for manual reflex silver no options (just want leather ...errgh) Week 42 build arriving Xmas earliest mid to late Jan most likely. Happy enough with price

Great price.. was that with any Corporate pricing? As for delivery you should be able to get the ETA into Australia from your dealer and if it was Week 42 you should also now be able to get the VIN number and start tracking it once it is actually on a boat.

Not a corporate price but dealer reckons there is a chance it will be available closer to delivery so will wait and see. How does this compare to your deal?

Mine isn't finalised yet as originally I had Dynaudio in the mix so I will see what sort of figures total up but It will be a touch under $60 K with DSG, Sunroof and SatNav with Euro Plates.. pretty much no discount to speak of.

I am having my Boss fill in the documents to get onto the Corp Discount listing with VWA and that should make a bit of difference...
Still, I am happy with what I am getting.
