    Washers don't go with wipers

So, this might seem a bit trivial but i'm having trouble with my wipers and washers.

When i pull the wiper lever towards me, the rear washer squirts and the front wipers activate. Then when i push the lever, the front squirters fire, but no wipers and the rear wiper goes, with no washer.

So, to me things seem to work in reverse, or there's a few wires mixed up.

Where would be the place to look, to change over the wiring? Also, has anyone else had this problem?

    Cheers

    Jon

Funny you mention that. My rears work the exact same. When I push the wiper stalk forward sometimes the washers will spray the front window but the front wipers won't do anything.

I wasn't too worried about it, but now you've made this thread I'll be watching with baited breath to see if it's something I need to sort out.

Is it possible that the water lines have been mixed up ?
The rear line is connected to the pump for the front and vice versa.

    My thoughts exactly!

So i checked under the hood and found the power connector to the water reservoir. That only fits one way. The hoses to the front squirters seem to go to the right place, but i'll have another look.

Is there a separate reservoir for the rear squirter?

Did you try swapping the hoses regardless of which way they seemed to be?

It might be a very easy fix, provided you don't worry which hose says what hehe

There is no separate reservoir. Swop the two hoses over.
