    Thanks for the feedback guys.

I'm tossing up whether to ghetto paint the bumpers to match the door rub strips, or to find a set of colour-coded strips to match the bumpers. Opinions?

Also, does anyone have some old colour-coded mirror caps lying around that I could repaint instead of sanding down my textured ones?

    Cheers.

Paint your rub strips! A lot cheaper than trying to source textured ones (unless off a wreck)!!

I've been looking for white 3-door ones for my car and it's just insanely impossible, so in a few weekends time I'm just gonna "carefully" rip em off and rattle can the bishes.

I'm not too phased on finding silver rub strips; any colour will do as I'll just paint them anyway. I don't want to paint the textured ones though as they'll still have the pattern in them and look horrible unless I sand them right back.

Also not sure whether to pull the mudflaps off or not - they're copping a bit of abuse constantly driving over the speedbumps at work haha

Decided to do a few things to the car today. Started off by pulling the heat gun out and trying a trick I've seen done on youtube to revive the textured plastic. After just a few seconds of heat, the rubstrips, front spoiler, rear spolier, rear skirt and mudflaps all look like they just came out of the factory!

    A couple of progress shots

Also touched up the stockies and stuck them on while I'm deciding what to do with my new wheels, don't mind the look really if they were widened and I wound it down a few cm.

Also cut the shifter down about an inch and a half today; best mod I've done so far other than the keyless entry I'd say! Very happy with the decrease in shifter travel, feels much more natural and looks great too.

Finally got around to putting the wheels i bought on; look so much better than the steelies and the crappy Advanti wheels I had! Also took the front mudflaps off and lowered the front another inch. I'm thinking of spacing out the rear too as they're sitting waaaaaay inside the guards.

Also replaced my mirror glass thanks to Jmac after some drunk decided to use mine as a baseball bat target. Painted the caps up too and I think they look tonnes better!

    Little update

Jacked her up yesterday afternoon and wound down the rear another inch and a half, wasn't happy with the uneven rake look. Very happy with the result! Might bottom out a fair bit more now but I love the look!

Also getting a new exhaust setup happening, my piping had a huge hole and the dodgy repair Dad and I tried is working its way loose.
