    Pat's VR6

    Location: Melbourne, VIC
    Model: VR6 Colour Concept (manual)
    Year: 1995
Mods: Stock as a rock unless you count personalised plates and white badges. Even the horrible stock stereo is in... however coming up soon will be the full stereo (Sony headunit, Rockford Fosgate splits in front, coaxials in back, MB quart 4.125 amp, Pioneer sub). The plans after that are coilovers, catback exhaust and cold air intake once I get out of year 12 at the end of this year and start getting some money and do a bit more research on them.

Well today I sent one to the scrap metal yard, so subtract one of the more mint examples of a mk3 Australia had left

Enter new much more ratty mk3:
Location: Toowoomba (soon to be brisbane), QLD
    Model: Golf CL 2 door
    Year: 1995
Mods: (some of these are soon to come but ill forget to update this) Air bag suspension, built NA vr6 with cai, ported throttle body, ported 2.9 clone intake manifold and lower intake mani, ported head with valve job, ported exhaust manifolds and downpipe, full 2.5 exhaust with magnaflow mufflers, r32 oil pan and pump, stage one engine mounts with engine spacers, lightened and underdriven pulleys, lightened flywheel, new cluth, all vr6 running gear refreshed with poly and heavy duty bushing where appropriate, rear sway bar, custom boot install and sound system, etc etc, without giving away too many little secret plans

Was before the crash ;P Anyone who saw it will agree, I like to think that I can say stuff like that now that I dont own it without sounding too arrogant, haha. Hardest pulling stock vr6 I drove out of the 15 or so I tested, basically perfect paint and an interior which didnt look a day over 3 years old... Really, I wish it never came into my hands which slammed it, flogged it, and then crashed it, and that the first car was something ratty. Ohwell. Haha Most of the good bits will live on, most of the good panels have gone to "Dark" on here, engine is going to be built up and put in my 2 door, and most of the interior is spread across the country, with the dash and associated panels going into a mk2, seats etc into my new car and other random bits and pieces to whoever bought them.

    New mk3 is very ratty
