If you bought a VW why are you worried about GO?

In my opinion, handling and show over go. I wouldn't worry about go because your never going to be very fast anyway.

show (but not mint clean because thats impossible) if i had a fast car I bet I would have lost my license or killed myself/someone by now.
might look for something a with a bit of go over the next few years now i feel like I have learnt a lot more about the road/other drivers, but itll always be about the look for me

I think it depends on what you've got car-wise and what you think it needs more of. For me with my 77TSI with sports pack, it looks ok standard but needs a bit more go, so that's where the money's heading first. But at the end of the day, I want both right now dammit

    i voted go.

that being said, i've come on a long journey since VW ownership. from now on, first mods arent going to be remapping/ intake etc, but rather:
    - suspension (gotta have balance via heigh adjustment)
    - tyres (gotta have grip, no point in wasting whatever torque there is)
    - brakes

i'll always appreciate a nice, low, good looking car - but for my own purposes, i love flying under the radar in a car that no one notices at all.

I spend most of my money just keeping it running let alone adding 'go'!

Agreed. I love how cars can look aesthetically...but for me and my car...

    I voted go!

I daily and track my car and enjoy driving it hard.

Most of mods I have done have been performance orientated rather than cosmetic.

Maintenance, more maintenance then some more otherwise the car wouldn't go anywhere!
So I guess that counts go?
