Dashboard warning lights on and Faulty codes

    VW Caddy 2008 1.9TDI

Recently got warning lights on and loss of power one week after serice.
Dashboard warning lights on and Faulty codes-1-png always on
Dashboard warning lights on and Faulty codes-2-png blinking.

    Faulty codes: P161B, P161C and P0546.

I replaced 2#,3# glow plugs then P161B and P161C codes gone.

Now another faulty code is coming out. It's P2002. DPF might be blocked.

Today I tried to find out the faulty egt sensor.
Dashboard warning lights on and Faulty codes-dsc_0031-jpgDashboard warning lights on and Faulty codes-dsc_0059-jpgI guess these are the three egt sensors(brown, black and yellow).

Dashboard warning lights on and Faulty codes-dsc_0051-jpgI took this photo on the top of dpf forward from driver postion . The middle one is Oxygen sensor. The left one is egt sensor (brown). The right one is not egt sensor. It's pressure sensor.
The other two egt sensors are going deep inside. I can't locate them.

Could anyone give me any idea which egt sensor is faulty according to faulty code P0546? how to find out the part number? Thanks.

firstly check the engine oil level, if this is too high it will cause the engine and dpf light to come on....be sure the correct oil has been used vw504 and 507 approval .Overfull oil is a possible reason and a easy one to check particularly just after a service.

I thought only 507 is approved for engines with a DPF.
Understand how it works, troubleshoot logically BEFORE replacing parts.

Thanks for all replies. Checked engine oil level. A littel bit high.
I unplugged one sensor at a time and scaned faulty codes. Figured out it's the black one.

When I finished testing and plugged all sensors, something strange happen. All faulty codes were gone.
Dashboard warning lights on and Faulty codes-3-pngonly this warning light is on. No faulty codes.

It's my understanding that thinner oils carry heat away more efficiently. (?)

That little light is the DPF regen light
If it doesn't go out after 10-15mins of keeping the engine speed above about 2000rpm (highway driving) you'll need a manual regen....... but you probably already knew this.

    You can't buy a 504 oil or a 507 oil, only 504/507.

As far as I know, all 504/507-approved oils are 5W30.
