    Alltrack service interval

I've owned my Alltrackfor just on 12 months now and covered 8800kms

I had a look at the service book and it says service is due every two years. The service indicator in the car also suggests this. Having never owned a diesel I was wondering if this sounds right or should I get it serviced before the due date?

How often do you service your diesel?

The MFD should tell you when it is due. I would be very surprised if it is more than 12 months intervals.

Just read my MFD last service done in June at 12000k Service indicator reset.

    Have done 2800 k since

MFD reads Service due in 12200k or 136 days whichever first, so it will get its 45000 check in JUNE REGARDLESS of Mileage.

The "LongLife" service regime allows for variable service intervals of up to 30 000 km or 24 months (not at 30k or 24m - big difference).

However, as already stated, the LL service regime doesn't apply for the Australian market.

There have been one or two members here who have reported their vehicles (via the MFD) weren't switched to the "Time & Distance" service regime (either by the factory or the dealer).

I can imagine the odd vehicle slipping through, but must be quite rare I think.

Well my car must have slipped through. The MFD shows 344 days until next service and I've owned it for 365 days already.

Booking the car in for service tomorrow.
