I doubt it'll be easy, the plugs on the back are very different. Although, if you could be bothered, it'd be a fair bit more reliable I'd assume. The Early GTIs I had all had a recall done to provide an extra relay for the fuel pump, to stop them burning out the fusebox.

You're probably right about it not being easy. A quick search of the interwebs shows a lot of people who think it would be a great idea to covert to blades but nobody selling adapters. Might be a market there.
When the fusebox arrives I'll strip it down and check the internal wiring and see if any ideas appear about the fuses.
Would be good to convert to blade fuses. The 924 has gone dark or died a couple of times because the headlight or fuel pump fuse has slipped out of the holder.
