Nice. Also had a dyno run today with the stage 1+ tune and pulled 250.8hp at all four which was decent Looking forward to the TBE next week with the DSG tune

Very interested to try out the DQ200 after the clutch replacement on my 118TSI... not planning to tune the engine anyway but the DSG is really dumb at slow speed.

Probably best to wait a few weeks before tuning to see if the mechatronics also needs replacing.

Here are my thoughts from an email I sent to a mate today (Golf R stage2+ done last Friday):

Dsg tune is ok, D changed a bit so it doesn’t change so early and the initial lag is pretty much gone as well which is nice. The thing I'm not sold on yet is S mode now as it's a bit too tame, only shifts a bit later than D. That being said it is now completely drivable in sport and you still get the nice rev kick on downshifts and the faster upshifts so I guess that’s ok, I just reckon if you want to push it hard now then you definitely have to use manual mode and it doesn’t hold the gears in the powerband enough in S...probably a good thing though as the auto modes are never going to be as good as manual shifting in terms of choosing the right gear through corners etc.
