So I had a chance this morning to try out the revised launch control of 4500 RPM. The sound is a bit more aggressive (rally car sounding) at 4500, compared to previous 4000. There is a lot more drama and wheel spin launching at this rev, the car spun its front wheels for what felt like 1/2 a second before taking off, and there was also a very hard/rough noise when the haldex engaged and transferred the power to the rear wheels. I suspect that if this was done frequently I would be breaking something in the driveline.
Thanks for doing the R&D on your car. I think 4,000rpm sounds plenty.

I will be reverting to the 4000 RPM limit as this was the most balanced of having the right amount of boost and moderate wheel spin to get you out of the gate and straight into crisp gear changes and the best 0-100 time.
Hmmm what other plans do you have to get the last 0.11s?

Also what wheels/tyres are you currently running? Perhaps some more grip may get you a tenth??
