As the title says, the wife has allowed the purchase of a GTI

I have an absolute maximum of $21k in the budget. Would prefer to spend much less.

less than 120000klms, but obviously lower would be better. Must have good service history and not heavily modified.

Prefer 5 door, but would look at a 3 door.

Manual or DSG

I just missed out on a silver Pirelli with 61000klms - within budget. Very disappointed

I'm in Brisbane and a local car would be great, but I've bought cars interstate before and will travel for the right car.

....would prefer leather, don't like the tartan much.

Is anyone selling?

If you would like to have a look at my brother's car you are welcome.
It is a red 2006 GTI with leather. It is immaculate and has just had the 120000k service ( 119000ks on speedo ). he has had the car since 75000ks
During the major service it also had new rear discs and pads. ( At VW dealer )
