ermmmm nope, not yet. Mate who wants to help out has been busy helping others, with what you could say are more important things. While it's the wet season I'm not in a rush, but think he said this weekend might be a goer (although I think it'll be a wet one again).

Drive home tonight was a crawl so jumped off the freeway early and thought I might try and liven things up by engaging Sport mode at the lights and turning off TC. Was like trying to drive on ice. Attempting to feather the throttle was pointless as it just kept redlining in 1st gear and refused to shift up, so had to go back into manual mode The reason I don't like doing quick starts in Manual mode is that I often go to shift up just as the car does it by itself, resulting in a very short shift from 2nd to 3rd.

    Nice number Brendan!

Ryan, we still under-quote the 118 tsi figures because not all have the later fueling system.

Having had my first full day on the track in a 1.4 tsi & 7 speed DSG I'm very impressed by the power delivery & torque spread of the twincharger

Interesting fact, good to know. Shame I'm stuck with the older one (couldn't even find the label for it after removing the battery).

At least Brendan doesn't have any DSG low-speed niggles to worry about. I sometimes wonder whether the tune and/or SprintBooster have had an effect on the 2nd clutch.

Has anyone else heard if BSR tuning? Tempted to try out there cold air intake as the car is feeling way too restricted with the stock set up.

Was looking for a file and stumbled across as old VCDS scan graph showing torque through the DSG.

Hits a max of 319nm a few times. (Short drive trying to see what the max was, I don't always drive like that... honest)
