That's right about the Supersprint manifolds, which is unfortunate as they look proper sexy.

There is a Uk firm called Ashley that do a 16V in to a MK1. Which is cheap and does fit as I have done a conversion myself with one.

Not especially beatiful to look at like the SS one but did the job.

I wrapped it with some of that fibreglass tape stuff and sprayed it black with heat resistant paint.

The other way I have seen it done is using the std cast manifold and flexy joint with a mk1 down pipe cut and welded on. Looked awful though.
