Have done all that and it works but I seem to have a new green icon in the dash for "Press foot brake" . When I do so the light as said above comes on and the light on the dash goes out and comes on again when I lift my foot off brake. It is immediately above the ACC symbols and slightly to the left of it.. Dont remember seeing it before?????????????
@Hillbilly: yes, VCDS reports the setting as "Brake lamp" and OBD11 calls it "Bremslicht". Not sure about "Press foot brake" because I don't know your car. But I suspect that the message was always there - the tweak doesn't change anything on the hex17 module.Quote:

Car is as in Sig and I reversed the adaptation and its still there It also brings up a message saying "Put foot on footbrake" which i havent seen before but is was still there after reverting so Im unsure . Just it seems different.Quote:

Yes I believe you and its my own fault for not looking before changing anything. However i have never had the message pop up before. or maybe Ive always had my foot on the brake when I turn car on. Going for a 200k drive tomorrow so will see what happensQuote:
