In America they are direct injection only, so a popular upgrade for people going for big power is to retrofit the port injection setup so they have both direct and port injection. But in Australia, I believe (dont quote me - but I believe) they are a bit of a mix with some being just direct injection and others having both direct and port injection.
Its easy to check your car, pop the bonnet and pop the engine cover off. Then just to the right of the oil filter you will see a black plastic fuel rail thats just above the inlet manifold runners. Look carefully and you can see an injector just before where the manifold runner joins the head of the engine. These are the port injectors. There are 4 in total of course, one on each runner.
The direct injectors are underneath the inlet manifold, you can see them and the fuel rail (silver metal fuel rail to withstand the crazy fuel pressure these require) but they are pretty well hidden and you will need a torch.
