    Turn the switch to the off position. have a look in your manual.

    probably find if you pull out the key the lights will turn off.

    they do not switch off, they go to parkers

    Not sure how the non-auto behaves, but leaving the switch in the main beam position should make the lights act as DRLs; switching on and off when the ignition is on/off. There might be a module to deactivate the parkers on in VAG-com under the adaptations section.
