Well... My first car, we bought 2nd hand in 2009.
It was a black 2007 Kia Rio LX (5spd manual) with 14,000km on the clock. Still had 3 years of factory warranty on it!!

I changed a few things... Namely the speakers (front and rear), the dials got a coat of silver and had blue LED's soldered on instead of the horrible stock orange. It had a tow bar, and silver front grilles... And a butt load of lights. *facepalm*
I also put a pod filter on the little 1.4. Yes, I was one of *those* P-Platers. :p
It spent most of its time brown from mud.

Still my favourite photo to date.

This is the k's it was at when I dropped it off to pick up my Octy... Dec 23 2011. This is the best pic I can find of the dash LED conversion.

EDIT: Found a pic of the dash LED's half way done.

Around the same time, I also had a 2010 (MY11) Kia Sorento Si (6spd auto) 2.2R. I fell in love with diesel...
Didn't do much at all to it in the way of modding, apart from LED interior lights but thats a given!!
... Oh, and taking it offroad all the time.

    Following a Nissan Patrol

I figured I'd take a nice photo... Of course, after I got back in, I realised I was stuck... And the tide was coming in.

    - 2009 Toyota Corolla (Company car, same as the above)
    - 2010 Suzuki Swift Sport (still miss it today
    - 2001 Mitsubishi Evolution 7 (awesome car, fast, but you need to have shares from Shell to afford the fuel)
    - 2008 Holden Astra Coupe (written off)
    - 2011 Mazda CX7 (horrible horrible car)
    - SKODA
MY12 - Octavia vRS Liftback, Brilliant Silver Metallic - Revo Stage 2

    - 1986 Ford Laser Ghia (Bubble back model). Great car for L and P plates and learning to drive.
    - 1998 Mitsubishi Mirage. Purchased brand new. Did a few mods to it but cant find any pictures unfortunately.
    - 1997 Nissan 200sx (S14a). Purchased from my parents who had bought it new and had only done 40,000km in about 7 years.
    - 2001 Nissan 200sx (S15). Was only 3yrs old when we bought it. Sold this car to buy the Golf.
    - 2011 VW Golf R. Bought this with no intention of modifying it beyond a stage 1 tune......so much for that. I've spent more money on this car than any of the others......go figure

A few pics of the S14:

A few pics of the S15:

Nismo lowered springs, 19inch Petrol rims, Spec R sideskirts, 3inch stainless steel XForce exhaust (turbo back), XR6 turbo intercooler with custom piping, intake with head shroud, 13PSI boost.

Jap spec leather steering wheel and pillar gauge. Custom leather trimmed handbrake and armrest. Upgraded stereo.

And a few pics of the Golf R: (these are old pics - car has changed a bit since then)

lucas, I think we have met

youre friends with jess (S15) right? before she moved to Sydney.

code618: turbo WILL die on the turbo models. around the 100k mark. check for rust in the seams under the car. don't touch if there is any under there.

panels are common now, i know people with wrecks that don't charge wrecker prices. castor arm bushes die, only a few hundred for poly replacements. gearbox needs a valve body upgrade as changes are sloppy as!
