Headlight washers in action - photo

I know that I was curious to see what they looked like in action. I actually still haven't seen them live I was in the car with the camera remote.

    Very cool shot.
I have never seen it happen before.

Not sure if it is really necessary but cool none the less.

Nice photo, and necessary as I've found out if you want Xenon headlights. No aftermarket HIDs without lamp washers

You've definately have got the day off when you can take photo's of headlight washers...why aren't you out on those lovely twisty roads up there

Great shot though and yes I've wondered what they looked like...

How do you activate them? Is it every ten washes of the windscreen or a seperate control? Pretty darn cool though

You have to have the lights on low beam and it's every fifth wash so it's simply a case of wash, wait, wash, wait, wash, wait, etc then when you see the spray over the bonnet push the camera remote. They only wash for a couple of seconds regardless of how long you hold the wash control on for the wipers.
