Gotta remember we didn't get the new Octy until a long time after release. The RS appeared more quickly really. My guess is that this version will be the MY16. With the timeline of when I'm likely to update next that is the timeframe of what I'm likely to get. There was a tonne of smoke and mirrors about the FL when I was looking at buying late '08. Skoka CZ wouldn't comment, Skoda OZ were playing games and the dealers either didn't know or pretended they didn't when I was trying to work out if the new FL was coming soon.
It turned out to be a bit of all the above. I got a MY08 in Nov, the new FL came out not long after, but not the RS or the Scout. They had updated interiors though for a short time and then the full FL RS came out. Trying to sift through the crap was hard and I gave up and had an outdated car about a month later. This should be more straight forward though and I would say this car will be any MY16 build. Whether that applies to the RS is anyones guess as they panels they mention there are already different from the stock Octys.
