    126 Days later..................

Just got the call down to the Dealer today to view the car. I've never seen one in Candy White before so I was very excited.

It looks awesome. The all leather interior is really classy and the interior is so beautifully fitted out. For some reason much better than I remember. Rose tinted glasses maybe because it's mine?

Here a few phone pics. Pick up is on Friday afternoon

Also, the front wheel in the first and the last pic seems to be quite high up. Suspension was quite high compared to the rear.

Any ideas? Are they set like that for transit, or will it settle? Just look a bit weird. Certainly not looking like "sports" suspension!

Pretty sure they put blocks in the springs yo stop them bouncing about. I have read tales of them not being removed during the PDI. Have a shufty before you take it out.

    Congrats on the arrival too.

Congratulations. I'm sure the wait will turn to large smiles come Friday afternoon.

The suspension does sit higher then you would think it should that just seems to be the way they are.

Congratulation backdoc, bet it didn't take long to get down to that garage.

Looks great, i think you may have also scored with tyres, they look like the Dunlop Sport Maxx GT and not the SP. A few of the cars in the UK are getting these from what i've read in Briskoda but it seems like a lottery, i'm definitely hoping to get them, i could be wrong from the photo however...well done!

Excuse my ignorance but what is the difference? GT is I am assuming a more performance orientated tyre......

I think it is, it was launched in OZ last year and is the latest in the Ultru high performance range. Its looks to be launched in Europe in 08 and fitted as factory fit on Merc AMG Black series, R8's etc. Tread pattern doesn't look that aggressive but latest technology.

Are they still using different sorts. I was pretty happy to get the Michelin PEIIs, they are probably the most expensive of the lot. In the early days people used to ask for what tyres they wanted.

They seem to be fitting either the Dunlop Sport Maxx SP and now the GT's plus Continental Sport Contact and it looks like a lottery at the moment as well.

I'm hoping for the GT's because i think they are quieter than the SP's but Dunlop seems to be the more popular fit outright at the moment from Skoda.
