average fuel was 9.2
not too bad considering the weight

There is an extra position on the interior door switch.
Has to be manually operated with ignition on (you just can't see my arm in the video).
However they can also be folded after you turn off ignition as long as you haven't opened a door (same as electric windows).
You can rig them to fold when you lock the car but you need to wire them up differently with an Audi mirror relay...and then you cannot fold them manually whenever you want...say if you are driving down a narrow street or something.
I am working on a circuit however so you can do both....it would be quite complicated to rig up![]()
awesome graeme.. i had 1 rh mirror but never put it in and ended up flogging it off as i couldnt get a lhd! (1 would be weird) ..

What’s behind you doesn’t matter..
Fuzion...those wheels are stunning.
I have a complete set of RHD folding Stubbies for sale if anyone is interested.
See the For Sale thread.
I kept the original size mirrors because I also wanted to fit the Skoda Superb puddle lights in them...they only fit the full size mirror housings.
Yes, some B5.5 V6 Passats here had the folding mirrors too...the pillar mount is different for the Golf though...

GIAC race gas file loaded on Saturday by EUROSPEED - yet to run the R on the 104 fuel
Yeah definately feel stiffer to me, especially if you really put the foot down...there's been a few times where I've felt the ABS after braking hard, seem to get that a bit more since installing the stiffening kit.
Any ideas on how to do this with the OEM switch?
