I'm at work & can't explain this any better with the whole 30 secs I have to write this, but....
I've now moved closer to the City (Surry Hills), and there's a lot of **** roads, and I wanted to raise the car up 1 or 2cm (maybe get some 16" steelies, made wider, with decent rubber at some stage). All the speed humps etc., I seem to find harsher than say a few months back when the engine conversion was only a few weeks old.
Main problem is at the rear, I don't think I can actually go much higher at the rear with my FK AK Street coilovers, they all keep slowly getting lower over time, and there is always 'a bit more' thread on the front to wind them up a bit more, but not on the back. I'm just about to wind them up to the very last few mm on the post of the rears, and after it settles, won't be enough height.
What else, CHEAP, can I do? Like just get longer coil posts for the rears? Or, Just get replacement springs that don't go as low as the kit ones??
All help appreciated!!

Might be riding a bit rough due to being wound all the way up?
Id get some lowering springs and shocks to replace the whole setup if you are trying to raise it that much

Love those tele dials Dylan. On a less exciting not my window acctuators failed on my drivers window. I couldn't help but think I should've replace the driver side when I did the passenger ones. Oh we'll lesson learnt after paying someone else to do it today.
Haha, no, not exactly raising, more like just stopping it from sinking!
Realistically, I probs only want to get it back up another 5-10mm at the guards ... so another 3-4mm at the threads? Problem is, with the rears, I want it to stay there.. ..they just keep slowly going back down again..
Maybe you're right about the ride being a bit rough due to the rears being wound all the way up. What could I do to fix? I have orig springs, but that would be WAY too high!

get some pics of the rear springs and adjusters while the car is sitting on level ground without being jacked up etc. (so full weight on the spring).
also some pics/arch to ground measurements would be good.
I noticed mine has started to sag in the rear, but mine have 75,000km on them now... I cant imagine yours are that old.
Otherwise im sure you could get a spacer/mount made up to either replace the adjuster or sit under the base to lift it up...
Either way, will be interesting to see how the shocks like being ridden on at the higher end
