    how do i remove the service message on the odometer?

    hi guys
    i got a mk4 golf. the service message appears on the odometer reading.
    how do i reset it?

    key in ignition but ignition off, hold down the odometer reset button and turn the ignition on. The INSP should flash or something. Now release the odometer reset button and turn the clock button to the right.
    Something like that anyway.

    Do you have an owners manual? It also tells you in there how to reset it.
