Help! Fuel Gauge is stuck on full.

Disconnect both the postive & negative battery lead's & bridge the two lead's with a screwdriver or something metallic for a roughly 10 second's or touch the two together if they will reach. Don't bridge out the battery, just the leads.

This decharges/de-energizises any capacitor's in the vehicles electrical system. It may sound strange but this has fixed many a wierd electrical problem.

It worked! I don't know how, bit it did... Thanks golfworx for that very cheap solution.

Nice, glad it worked out for you.
It's alittle bit hard to explain the in's & out's of this fix but, like I said this has fixed many a wierd problem from radio not working, to poor sat nav reception.

This is a fairly common problem . Ive seen just by changing fuel brands it sometimes fixes it . I know race fuel will fix it if you want to try that

My Mk4 has just developed this problem, the fuel gauge stuck on full.
