Car running perfectly.

Just thought i'd post a thread about how happy I am my car is running perfectly.

More power than ever, rediculously smooth on the road and power delievery and revs are smoother than they've ever been!! Even my new suspension is smooth as on sydney's ****house roads.

My mates were paying me out because I've gone to grab 3rd or 4th to change into 5th a few times and realised I was already in 5th.. too responsive. lol.

It even seems to be putting power down MUCH better, while being scarily powerful.

I don't want to jinx it but damn.. I don't want to get out of the bloody thing. lol


Only real change is after a diet of only BP ultimate pretty much since i've had it i've been putting 100Ron Shell in it.

Ah I cleaned the MAF and it ran a little better but was still surging - Changed over to VPower racing and now its sweet as.
Scary on a cold night!

Without doubt fuel octane rating does make a difference mate

were u always filling up from the same BP? Perhaps their fuel is being contaminated somehow? I can understand that your car would be running better on the higher octane. But it shouldnt run so bad on ultimate surely?

It was happening at a local Mobil. Where every time it rained hard somehow the fuel in one of their tanks was being contaminated.
