The only creeks that I thought were quite common was the glovebox area, mine was replaced under warranty so all good there too!

just wondering how many others out there have had their back seats rattling, makes sort of a creaky/squeaky sound... and if so what is the best fix for it? i believe its a common problem in mk4 golfs from talking to some mechs.

On the rear seat there is a handle to pull to release the seat and drop it foward, there is a latch mechanism at the back you will see once the seat is foward. Put a little grease on it (the retainer latch contact point) and the squeek should disappear.
