G'day All,
I am looking for somewhere to get my T5.1 Multivan serviced.
I don't want to go to a VW dealer but I need to find someone who knows Multivan's really well.
I have a rough idle issue at just over 70,000kms and I need a pro to diagnose.
Any recommendations would be great.
Cheers.

VolksTech in Hiedelberg West so not far from you (assuming you are in Coburg as per your forum info).
If you have a rough idle then you may well have some carbon buildup in your intake (i know this is common with other modern diesel engines with EGR systems - my Audi SQ5 had the same thing a few years ago and removing the intake manifold parts and cleaning about 6mm thick gooey carbon off everything made it nice and smooth again).

Thanks Lucas, i didn't think of that, will definitely check the intake, I have only had it for 6 months and it's got low for it's age, and I get a feeling previous guy only did short trips.
Cheers
The goop mainly builds up around the EGR.Wouldn't bother with further down.Did mine around 130K. It didn't have a rough idle though.
