transporter rear sliding door closed sensor not working.

Does any body know how the rear sliding door closed sensor works, and where it is located?
I currently have the rear sliding door alarm up on the dash & it will not clear. (Beeping when driving, very annoying)

Found that the electric control unit located in the left rear quarter panel was faulty. Unplugged the unit & the alarm has cleared. The only draw back is now the rear sliding door when opened does not register anymore. I priced the electric controller from VW & for $495 dollars I will live with this inconvenience.

Wow, good on you for locating that fault.

Out of warranty VW's scare the geebus out of me for repairs. For example I had a wing mirror indicator stop working, turns out the indicator is powered through the window winder motor, and the motor needed to be replaced. Was much easier in the olden days.

    Have you searched OS?
