I was told that a batch of 300 were ordered with special features. Don't know any more than that. Jimmy, perhaps you could list the options that your van is fitted with.

I remember them....from memory, they were a featured up base model Transporter with extra seats and trim. I remember looking over one when I picked up the DOKA and thought they were quite nicely done. I think they are now a regular part of the range....designation 'Crewvan'?

The TDI 300 was released in early 2002 as a Limited Edition model.

It was based on a SWB Transporter with the 75kW 2.5L TDI engine, packed with heaps of standard features with an emphasis on safety such as Passenger Airbag, Anti Lock Brakes and Alloy Wheels.

Unfortunately air con, auto trans, front mudflaps, rear wiper washers and metallic paint still were optional extras.

    Abit more on the 300TDI.
As mentioned they all had dual airbags, ABS/EDL and 15" alloy wheels and TDI I recall they all had air con and rear wipers, certainly the ones I did the pdi on all did. Iirc the only options were auto and metalic paint.
