i wish you'd not posted that. I now want one. Even the wife would love it.. now question is...
in my van I have a rcd510 + touch BT kit. the phone button just mutes the stereo so not fully phone integrated. it's also a manual and I have no wizz bang dash display. If I get a wheel with the volume and phone buttons (on the left?) only, will it work with me van?

I was surprised at how much I use the paddles. Once you get use to them, It'll be hard to go back to a van without them.
IMO, they should be a standard option on the Multivans etc.
Looks like my 103TDI MV does not have control module 16 - Steering wheel.
Can anybody with VAGCOM and a 103TDI do a module scan and see if module 16 - Steering wheel is there?

Need to play with Vagcom a bit more as initial quick checks had us clear the a/bag warning light no problems, but could not find the setting to enable the DSG paddles .... :(
Did your van have MFD or a Multi function steering wheel originally?
My understanding is, if your van does not have these originally, the controllers and wiring will not be in place to retro fit them.

Had a look thru my VCDS, and I cannot find anything to do with steering wheel paddles.
