The horn stopped working because it also runs off the LIN bus in the MFSW setup (whereas it is wired direct to the BCM in the non-MFSW setup). So yeah once you get power and LINbus up into your wheel + coding in BCM, the horn will work again.

Guys I'm pulling my hair out. i've triple checked everything and i still can't get it work.
I have checked the wiring.
I have tested the 12v connection and again at the clockspring and through the airbag loom.
I can even sound the horn by "testing" the module connector from the airbag loom.
I have programmed the VCDS 09 Elec, 56 Radio and have enable the mfsw, push to talk and radio control.
I simply don't know what else it could be.
HELP!!!!! please
Beers on me.
Where are you located?
If in Melbourne, you are welcome to try my original MFSW that cme out of my van.
At least it will tell you to look at your wheel or to work back from there.
Yes I'm in Melbourne, fantastic. I'll pm you now. Thank you

I'm a happy man :/") finally got the mfsw working with both sides of the buttons and the paddles.
Just trying to figure out why the cruise is not working now and why the voice recognition button on the mfsw seems to do nothing.
Any suggestions?

Cool! What was the problem in the end??
The voice recognition button needs to be coded in the radio and/or the telephone module. If it is uncoded however, it should still mute the radio? I left mine uncoded because I prefer it as a quick "MUTE" button. The voice control is useless I think.
Re: cruise control: no idea why this would stop working. Has nothing to do with MFSW, AFAIK? You have the controls on the left/indicator stick, correct? Do you also have MFD buttons on the right/window washer stick? I read somewhere that if you touch any of the buttons on the right/washer stick, then the MFSW and CC stop working until you restart the car ... something to do with the BCM getting confused (because the right stick buttons are not present in stock MFSW vehicles )
